About Eden Dale

Eden Dale commemorates the original name of the land that is now the Sangiacomo Home Ranch. In 1927, Vittorio Sangiacomo purchased and began farming the historic 56-acre property in Sonoma Valley, establishing the family farmstead for generations to come. Before it became part of the Sangiacomo legacy, the land was known as Eden Dale, an award-winning fruit tree farm. Today, Eden Dale wines celebrate the family’s nearly 100 years of agricultural heritage and more than 50 years of grapegrowing tradition. Featuring estate-grown Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, the wines express the terroir and clone selections of the Sonoma County vineyards sustainably farmed by the Sangiacomo family.

Eden Dale Pinot Noir

2022 Eden Dale Pinot Noir

Tasting Profile

Bright, expressive aromatics leap from the glass, led by Bing cherry and cherry compote layered with pomegranate and loganberry. Floral notes of rose hips and hibiscus add lift, while hints of five-spice, sassafras, and white pepper provide subtle complexity. On the palate, cherry and plum compote take center stage, joined by vibrant raspberry and delicate rose petal. Savory undertones of sandalwood and forest floor add depth and nuance. Sleek, well-balanced acidity keeps the wine lively and precise, while silky tannins create a supple texture. Juicy and clean, the finish is bright, fresh, and lifted.

Food Pairing

This Pinot Noir is a crowd-pleasing partner to wood-fired pizzas, cedar plank salmon, roasted root vegetables, wild mushroom risotto, or a spread of charcuterie and soft cheeses. For a more substantial pairing, it also pairs beautifully with pork tenderloin, duck breast, or grilled lamb chops, highlighting the wine’s bright fruit, earthy nuance, and silky texture.

Eden Dale Chardonnay

2021 Eden Dale Chardonnay

The Sonoma Coast Eden Dale Series

Eden Dale wines are crafted to showcase the exceptional cool-climate sites farmed by the Sangiacomo family in Carneros, the Petaluma Gap, and Sonoma Coast. Inspired by our desire to express true varietal character and distinctive terroir, selections from Sangiacomo estate vineyards are blended together with the thoughtful attention of our winemaker. These wines define an approachable style, offering fruit-forward freshness and bright acidity representative of this region.

Tasting Notes

This straw-colored chardonnay opens with aromas of perfectly ripe Honeydew melon, pear, and white flowers with undertones of vanilla nougat. Weighty and plush, yet vivid and crisp with flavors of white peach, lemon curd, and a touch of almond croissant. This mouthwatering chardonnay closes with lingering flavors of wet stone minerality.

Food Pairings

Pair with a wood-fired Quattro Fromaggi pizza, Caesar salad with crunchy sourdough croutons, or chicken pot pie with flaky crust. The fresh flavors of this enticing chardonnay shine alongside seafood dishes and light proteins including grilled chicken breast, pork chops, seared scallops with a lemon butter sauce, Dungeness crab, a lobster roll, or Mediterranean Sea bass.

La Collina dei Ciliegi Maciòn Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore

https://shop.allamarone.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/macion.jpg

Grapes: Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella
Ageing: Approximately 12 months in French oak barriques and tonneaux, followed by 8 months of bottle aging
Aromas: Wild red berries, dried flowers, and refined balsamic nuances

“Maciòn” is made from hand-harvested Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella grapes, selected from the sunniest plots at the end of September. After the first fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine is re-fermented on the pomace of Amarone and Recioto grapes, lending depth and structure. This step lasts around ten days and is followed by 12 months in French oak (barriques and tonneaux) and a further eight months in bottle before release.

Appearance & Aroma
Intense purplish red with violet hues. The nose is marked by ripe forest fruit, dried flower petals, and a subtle note of balsamic herbs.

Taste
The wine opens with smooth, rounded tannins. It’s full without being heavy, with a clean finish and a lively edge that keeps it fresh throughout.

Serving suggestions
Pairs well with traditional meat dishes, baked pasta, and aged cheeses. Monte Veronese DOP makes a particularly good match.
