Krone 'Borealis Cuvee Brut' MCC - Methode Cap Classique

vintage Cap Classique bottle-fermented sparkling wine:

chardonnay 52% / pinot noir 48%

Luminous and finely detailed. Aromatics of white citrus, grapefruit zest,

oyster shell and petrichor. Mineral tension defines the entry, along salted

white pear and crisp stone fruit. Tiny, persistent bubbles dissolve into an

integrated mousse, lending a velvet fluidity to the precision. Sapid and

mouthwatering, finishing with a sea-salt bite. Extended lees ageing of

18 months builds depth and evolving complexity, and will develop rich,

biscuity notes over time.

Babylonstoren Sémillon

100% Semillon- the unsung hero. A beautifully balanced with a silky texture lifted by fresh acidity and lovely length. Slow, lingering sips will reveal the hidden layers of deliciousness and character.

Grapes are hand-harvested at 23° Balling in the cool of the morning. To preserve flavour and aromas, the grapes are cooled first, and thereafter the juice, to 5°C. The grapes are gently pressed, and the free-run juice is transferred to stainless steel tanks. After two days, the juice is racked off the primary lees and transferred to barrels. Fermentation takes place in 300-litre French oak barrels. Barrel maturation totals 10 months before being bottled and then bottle matured for four months prior to release.

An elegant, dry wine with a soft golden hue and inviting notes of citrus, ripe nectarine and a touch of vanilla. A single sip reveals layers of honeysuckle, toasted almond and gentle beeswax, carried by fresh acidity and a silky, lingering finish.

From one of the coolest and driest growing zones in Austria, this crowd-pleasing,

European-style rose hits on all cylinders: a pleasing pink hue, ample red berry on

both the nose and palate, clean structure, and a balanced finish. Crafted by tenth-

generation producer Harald Frank and his family, this small batch wine rarely

makes it all the way to this side of the Atlantic! Primarily a blend of Zweigelt - the

country's zingy, mainstay red variety - and Pinot Noir, it's the perfect weave of the

exotic and the familiar.

Babylonstoren Soetmelksvlei Pinotage

Babylonstoren is one of the oldest working Cape Dutch farms in the Winelands region. The estate is positioned around a sprawling garden, inspired by the historic Company’s Garden in Cape Town. In recent years, Babylonstoren has become a renowned establishment in the vibrant Boland region. The farm’s garden is known for its diverse and expansive botanical collections.

Their Pinotage is rich, full, and spicy. Ripe plum and dark cherry make up the dark fruited profile of this wine, and dark roast coffee, shaved chocolate, clove, and sweet tobacco show themselves as well in this well valued Pinotage.

This is our twenty-sixth bottling of Cabernet Sauvignon. Every year showcases more maturity and evolution in both our vineyards and winemaking. Bright aromas of dark cherry, raspberry, blackberry, currants, and boysenberry preserves with a slight hint of nutmeg greet you in the glass. The velvety entry with sweet oak envelops the richly layered fruit. Juicy acidity and lingering berry notes mesh with complex tannins at the finish. Enjoy for 20 or more years.
