Vento di Mare Nero d’Avola – Soft and Smooth

Made with Organic Grapes (Sicilia)

43338.png

Vento di Mare Nero d’Avola is produced from organic grapes grown in picturesque vineyards located on the sunny island of Sicily. This wine delights with aromas of plum and wild berry fruit that stay fresh through the well balanced finish.

Black cherries, plums, prunes and figs are on the nose of this Nero d'Avola made with organic grapes, with a whisper of dark chocolate and mint. The palate stays fresh and juicy with cherries, more chocolate and an undercurrent of wet slate and soil. Tannins are flexible and acid punchy.                                     Danielle Callegari

Les Allies Pinot Noir 2024 (750 ml)

Tasting Notes and Description

Les Allies Pinot Noir 2024: This Pinot Noir from the Languedoc region in France offers aromas of red cherry, raspberry, and subtle floral notes. The palate reveals flavors of ripe strawberry, cranberry, and a touch of earthiness, with a silky texture that makes it an excellent choice for lighter dishes.

Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau

Review: 2025 Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau

Beaujolais Nouveau is the wine world’s most famous sprint—the wines are made, bottled and shipped within weeks of harvest. But what began as a local celebration marking the end of the season has grown into an international phenomenon. In 2025, a difficult but high quality vintage, longtime Nouveau lovers and novices alike have plenty of reason to cheer,

What Is Beaujolais Nouveau?

All red wines made in Beaujolais—including Nouveau—are produced from the region’s sole permitted red grape, Gamay. Fruit for Beaujolais Nouveau generally comes from the area’s more modest vineyard sites rather than its distinguished crus. That means grapes are sourced from both the broader Beaujolais AOC and the 38 villages within the Beaujolais-Villages AOC. Franck Duboeuf, whose négociant house produces between 20 and 25 percent of all Nouveau, sources fruit from across the region. He encourages growers to remain patient and harvest “healthy grapes with phenolic maturity and a good balance between acidity and sugar.”

Botani Sierras de Malaga Old Vines Moscatel

Botani Sierras de Malaga Old Vines Moscatel 2022 white wine bottle 750mL from Spain

#53 on The Wine Spectator Top 100 Wines of 2023.

91 points Wine Spectator
A dry, aromatic white, with mouthwatering acidity and a chalky underpinning, this refreshing sipper shows notes of nectarine, lime blossoms, pink grapefruit granita, fresh tarragon and pickled ginger. Very appealing. Drink now through 2025.

100% Muscat of Alexandria. The oldest variety in the Muscat family and one of the few remaining genetically unmodified vitis vinifera cultivars remaining in the world today. The Phoenicians transplanted this grape from Alexandria, Egypt to Malaga approximately 2,800 years ago. Over 50 small vineyard plots planted in the Axarquia Malaguena, primarily surrounding the village of Almachar. Given the steep inclinations (up to 70??) and the lack of trellising, terraces, or mechanization, these are the most extreme vineyards in Europe. Vineyards planted Between 1946-1975. Traditional dry-farmed goblet trained bush vines. Cultivated by hand, with minimal human intervention. No organic matter or soil whatsoever. Solid slate rock and decomposed slate with a small percentage of white quartz.

CELLER PESCADOR

THE ESSENCE OF YOUR MEDITERRANEAN

Varietals

Macabeo, Xarel·l, Parellada

Celler del Pescador, located in the Empordà, has been making semi-sparkling wines since 1967. The result of the second fermentation process is Blanc Pescador, the first sparkling wine in Spain and which, with more than 50 years of experience, has become one of the benchmark wines of the Mediterranean diet.

Tasting note

Pale and bright green yellow tinge.
Aromatic, slightly fruity and delicately lively. It has a refreshing, light and clean palate.

Blanc Pescador was created as an ideal inexpensive companion for Mediterranean locals to pair with their fresh seafood. The wine is made from traditional Cava grape varieties and is slightly fizzy with notes of ripe key lime green apple and apricot. Pescador works with several groups to protect marine life and clean up beaches.
