Fusió de Mas Igneus 2018 - Spain

Fusió de Mas Igneus-masigneus

Red wine from the blending of the wines from our 3 production areas (Coster de L'Ermita, Escaladei, and Barranc dels Comellars).
Each one with one different type of slate to emphasize the mineral sensation in the palate. Parceled selection of our vineyards until blending.
Due to the small yields of some of our plots some lots are vinified in vertical barrels with manual pigeage as a method for the extraction of the color. Ageing in french oak barrels of different capacities.
Twelve months later the winemaker, with the owner, decided the date of bottling.

94 - Wine Enthusiast

This inky purple wine has aromas of cassis, Chambord and butterscotch that are followed by flavors of  blackberry, pomegranate, milk chocolate and baking spices. A tight wall of tannins builds in volume and then evaporates into a bright note of cherry with a violet lift on the finish.                                     Mike DeSimone

Optik French Camp Petite Sirah 2022

(Paso Robles Highlands District)

Optik French Camp Petite Sirah 2022 Front Bottle Shot

Vibrant notes of brown spice, where hints of cinnamon and nutmeg mingle together. As the aromatic bouquet unfolds, the senses are greeted by a burst of jammy fruits of berries and plums. Within this delightful blend of spice and fruit, one can discover the enchanting undertones of leather and violets, adding a subtle yet captivating complexity to the overall experience.

Chalky tannins with sweet jammy fruits balanced by a bit of leather. These elements combine to make the wine bold and refined, creating a memorable taste experience.

92 Jeb Dunnuck

Lastly, the 2022 Petite Sirah French Camp Vineyard comes from a site in the Paso Robles Highlands District of Paso Robles. Its deep purple hue is followed by a big, juicy, fruit-loaded effort that has ample jammy black and blue fruits as well as some peppery herb and candied violet aromas and flavors. It brings the fruit yet also stays nicely balanced, juicy, and undeniably delicious. It almost reminds me of a great Côtes du Rhône.

James Suckling 91

"A vivid, crunchy and vibrant red with cherries, wild herbs and baking spices. Medium-bodied with fine tannins and fresh acidity. Velvety with plenty of liveliness on the mid-palate. Flavorful and precise. Drink now."

Domaine de Plein Pagnier Ventoux Terres d'Edouard

Cotes de Ventoux, Rhone, France - This full-bodied and fruit-forward wine is made from a blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Counoise. Deep red and black berries dominate the nose and palate. Pair with barbecue and cheeses.

It is the flagship wine of the Domaine. The grapes come from the plots planted especially by our great-grandfather Edouard F. 60 years ago. On this vintage, I allow myself more work, more creativity especially, more meticulousness to release the expression of our grape varieties, our soils, our work.
