Quattro Theory Sauvignon Blanc 2023

Inspired by four generations of Trinchero family legacy, Quattro Theory Napa Valley blends time-honored wisdom with modern craftsmanship to create balanced, food-friendly wines. This Sauvignon Blanc from our estate Mary’s Vineyard comprises two clones for the ideal balance of structure, acidity and aromatics. Small-lot harvesting and fermentation allow us to assemble a final blend that emphasizes the varietal character.

This wine unfolds with vibrant layers of tropical fruits and subtle floral notes, lifted by the bright zest of white grapefruit and lime, creating a lively, mouthwatering tension. The bold aromatics are matched by equally dynamic flavors, offering a refreshing burst in every sip. As it evolves, delicate hints of minerality and salinity add complexity to the crisp finish. Perfect pairings include a citrusy summer chicken salad and fresh shrimp spring rolls.

91 Points - Wine Enthusiast: "Verve and lift deliver aromas of mixed citrus and lemongrass, followed by a crisp and mouthwatering palate and refreshing finish." — Elaine Chukan Brown

90 Points - James Suckling: "Delicate aromas of green apples, fresh herbs and a hint of apricot with flavors of finger lime zest and lime juice. A clean, simple, straightforward sauvignon blanc that is gently aromatic, easy to enjoy and refreshing."

Quattro Theory Chardonnay 2023

Inspired by four generations of Trinchero family legacy, Quattro Theory Napa Valley blends time-honored wisdom with modern craftsmanship to create balanced, food-friendly wines. This Chardonnay comes from our cool-climate Vista Montone vineyard in southern Napa Valley. We harvest, ferment and age in small lots, then assemble a blend that emphasizes the complex aromatics and flavors, subtle oak and beautiful minerality.

This Chardonnay is a refined expression of balance and elegance. It opens with a vibrant bouquet of crisp fruit aromas, ranging from fresh green apple and bartlett pear to luscious stone fruit. Subtle oak aging adds a layer of richness, without overpowering its fresh, lively character. Ideal pairings include truffle mac and cheese and grilled sea bass with a lemon butter sauce.

92 Points - Wine Enthusiast: “Bringing together crushed apples with a squeeze of lemon and backnote of tropical fruits, this Chardonnay combines energy with juicy flavors and a firm finish.” — Elaine Chukan Brown

90 Points - James Suckling: “Aromas of baking spices, fresh pineapple and mangoes for a very tropical experience. The palate has gentle creaminess with enough limey acidity to balance the tropical fruit flavors. This is a modern, full-bodied wine, ready to party. Drink now.” - James Suckling

Quattro Theory Merlot 2023

Quattro Theory Napa Valley wines are inspired by four generations of Trinchero family legacy, blending time-honored wisdom with modern craftsmanship, to create balanced and food friendly wines.

This cool climate Merlot is designed for food. It is balanced in all aspects with medium bodied with smooth velvety tannins. The finish is long, elegant, and refreshing, showcasing a harmonious blend of fruit, earth, and spice.

Vineyard Notes

Quattro Theory Merlot is predominantly sourced from two vineyards: Antica Vineyard and Vista Montone. Antica, located in Foss Valley of Soda Canyon in the Atlas Peak AVA, runs north to south at 1,500 feet and benefits from cool nights and daytime temperatures influenced by the Carquinez Strait. Planted in 1996 to clone 181, this late-ripening site allows for extended hang time and flavor development. Vista Montone, situated just east of Carneros in Napa Valley, is named for its sweeping views of the Bay and Carneros hills—“Vista Montone” meaning “view of the sheep.” This 2.26-acre vineyard features a single block of Merlot, first planted in 2018.

92 Points - James Suckling: “Perfumed and supple with aromas of blackberries, blueberries, graphite, violets, potpourri and spices. The midweight palate offers fine-boned tannins, a plush mouthfeel and balanced acidity. Aged in 500-liter oak vessels. Drink or hold.”- Ryan Montgomery

Quattro Theory Cabernet Sauvignon 2022

Inspired by four generations of Trinchero family legacy, Quattro Theory Napa Valley blends time-honored wisdom with modern craftsmanship to create balanced, food-friendly wines. This Cabernet Sauvignon comes from two estate, valley-floor vineyards, chosen for their fruit’s smooth, ripe flavors and balanced tannins. Small-lot fermentation and French oak aging ensure varietal character shines and the wine is beautifully integrated.

Classic, elegant Napa Valley varietal character is the star in this Cabernet Sauvignon, with the tannins and structure supporting the fruit flavors. The wine’s balance and freshness make this a particularly food friendly Cabernet Sauvignon. Suggested pairings include a grilled rack of lamb with fresh herbs, ribeye steak with sautéed mushrooms and braised short ribs.

92 Points - Wine Enthusiast: "Bursting with flavor and intensity, this wine celebrates succulent dark plums and berries with fruit-forward pleasure and a generous finish." —Elaine Chukan Brown

Vineyard Notes

This Cabernet is structured primarily around valley floor fruit from two of our estate vineyards located in the St. Helena AVA, offering ripe fruit character, good structure and a smooth, long finish. Further complexity and elegance is added to the blend with the addition of estate mountain vineyards from AVAs including Mt. Veeder and Atlas Peak. The grapes are harvested by hand at night in small lots over the course of a few weeks, picked only when at the level that meets our style.

Gerard Bertrand Banyuls Traditionnel Vin Doux Naturel, Languedoc-Roussillon, France

banyuls-vintage-rouge

Wine description

Between sea, mountains, sun and wind, Banyuls wines are above all wines of pleasure. The vines, exposed to the generosity of the climate, produce wines of expression and quintessence, rich, powerful, elegant and racy, carrying with them the warmth of the sun and the rusticity of the schist soil. The terroir and wines of Banyuls are expressed through the king of grape varieties: Grenache.
